Cataclysm What do you think of this?
A story that has no bridges,
No rivers and no cakes,
Grievous laughter ricochets
Off my best Friday hat.

Upside down is in fashion.
Trampolines are my favourite,
Melodic and effervescent.

This really is the end,
The catkins are complaining,
They want a tragic ending,
So we dropped an anvil,
On our drummer, RIP.
The guitarist filed suit,
For blood on his strings,
But the bassist shu
A Peaceful War-Rage Verse 1:
Water fills my hands falling upwards in my eyes,
Sometimes I feel alone. But clichés sustain me.
Butterflies explode from my head every morning.
Escapism is not my strong point, but it'll do.

Chorus:
Under the umbrella acid rain falls,
Nothing makes sense to me anymore.
My inside aren't out, my outsides aren't in.
I'm still trapped in this mephitic skin.

Verse 2:
Melancholy waves push me further up the beach,
I don't like this feeling, it's always scared me.
Eyes open to a day screaming one more rainbow.
But my feet still touch the same distant, frosted floor.

Chorus:
Under the umbrella acid rain falls.
Nothing makes
Stress Stress.

Argh.
One syllable words are
all we can find to vent
our frustrated feelings. Gah.

Meh. Resignation. To what
we call life. Some life.
Followed by a shrug, a sigh,
or a yawn, perhaps?

Spasm. Eurgh.
Eyes droop involuntarily, and the frown
lines, the ones we'll hate
when we grow up, deepen.
